How much does a Vietnam trip from India cost?
There is no single total that fits every departure city, date and group. Tripsidekick’s displayed Vietnam starting prices range from ₹42,000 to ₹77,000 per person across 5–10 day routes. These are starting package prices, not a promise of an all-inclusive holiday from every Indian airport.
The figures below are a snapshot reviewed on 16 October 2026. Check the current package page and request a dated written quote. Flights, visas and applicable taxes need explicit confirmation; the final group total may differ from a headline per-person rate.
- 5 days / 4 nights — Hanoi, Ha Long Bay & Hoi An: from ₹42,000 per person.
- 6 days / 5 nights — Da Nang, Hoi An & Ho Chi Minh City: from ₹49,500 per person.
- 7 days / 6 nights — Vietnam Highlights in Three Cities: from ₹54,500 per person (based on 6 adults travelling together).
- 8 days / 7 nights — Vietnam from South to North: from ₹57,000 per person.
- 8 days / 7 nights — Central Vietnam & Phu Quoc Escape: from ₹72,000 per person.
- 10 days / 9 nights — Vietnam Discovery with Phu Quoc: from ₹77,000 per person.
The four choices that change your quote
Departure city and dates: compare the complete international journey, including connections and baggage. If reaching another Indian airport adds a separate flight or overnight stay, include that in your personal budget. We do not publish a fixed airfare estimate because a live fare for your dates is needed.
Number of bases: a route through Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City has different internal travel needs from a stay centred on one region. Phu Quoc adds another flight or transfer decision. Count the time and cost of each move before adding destinations.
Group size and rooms: the Three Cities 7-day starting rate assumes 6 adults travelling together. A couple, solo traveller or family should ask for a quote using its own room arrangement. Hotel category, private transport and optional activities also change the total.
Build the full budget in separate lines
Use one list for the quoted arrangements and another for costs you will pay separately. Do not count a flight, meal or activity twice. If a proposed ticket appears in the day plan but not the inclusion list, ask whether it is payable separately.
For two travellers, multiplying a per-person quote by two is only useful after the rate has been confirmed for two people. It does not establish that a rate based on a larger group applies to you.
- International flights from your Indian departure airport, with baggage
- Domestic flights or other travel between Vietnam bases
- Hotel nights, room category and meals actually included
- Airport transfers and private or shared sightseeing transport
- Entry tickets, optional activities and meals outside the package
- Visa costs, applicable taxes and separately payable charges
- Personal spending and a contingency chosen for your own circumstances
Questions to ask before choosing the lowest price
Ask for the exact hotel and room, flight inclusion list, full group total in INR, price validity and cancellation conditions. Ask how substitutions will be handled if the quoted hotel or activity becomes unavailable.
The cheapest headline can represent fewer inclusions or a different room-sharing basis. Compare the route and scope first, then decide which proposal fits your budget. Our quote comparison guide explains that check in more detail.
Get a quote that matches your budget
Send your departure city, travel date, traveller count and budget per person. State clearly whether that budget must cover flights. Add the experiences you most want, such as Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, the Golden Bridge or Phu Quoc.
Use “Plan this trip” on the matching package to start a WhatsApp conversation. Our team can discuss the brief; availability, inclusions and the final payable amount require written confirmation before booking.
