The 7-day route at a glance

Our Vietnam Highlights in Three Cities outline uses 2 nights in Hanoi, 3 nights in Da Nang and 1 night in Ho Chi Minh City. It connects northern scenery, the central coast and a southern city stop. It is a busy starting route rather than a promise that every traveller will find three bases comfortable in one week.

The displayed starting rate is ₹54,500 per person, based on 6 adults travelling together, reviewed on 16 October 2026. Flight, visa, hotel-night and meal details require a fresh quote for your dates. Your final flight times determine how much sightseeing can fit on arrival and departure days.

Days 1–2: Hanoi and Ha Long Bay

Day 1 is for arrival in Hanoi and city landmarks, with the scope adjusted to your actual arrival time. After an overnight international journey, ask for a lighter first day if your group needs rest. A late arrival should not be sold as a full sightseeing day.

Day 2 is the Ha Long Bay outing in this route. Confirm pickup, return time, cruise type, meals and tickets in your quote. This outline uses a day excursion; an overnight cruise is a different arrangement and should not be assumed from the words “Ha Long Bay”.

Days 3–5: Da Nang, Hoi An and the Golden Bridge

Day 3 moves the trip to Da Nang, with time by the coast only if the flight and transfer schedule allow it. Keep the airport transfer, baggage and hotel check-in in view when deciding whether to add an outing.

Day 4 combines Marble Mountains and Hoi An sightseeing. Day 5 is for Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge. Check which tickets, transport and meals are included. If your group prefers more free time in Hoi An, discuss changing the balance rather than adding activities to every available hour.

Days 6–7: Ho Chi Minh City and departure

Day 6 transfers to Ho Chi Minh City. Day 7 proposes Cu Chi and city sightseeing before departure. This final day needs particular care: the sightseeing scope must work around your departure airport, check-in requirements and flight time.

Ask the planner to show a realistic return-to-airport plan. If the excursion and departure do not fit comfortably, reduce sightseeing or add a night. The day list is an outline for discussion; the written itinerary must settle the order and timing.

When a two-base itinerary is the better choice

If the group wants slow mornings, longer stays or fewer flights, ask about focusing on northern and central Vietnam, or central and southern Vietnam. More places on a list do not automatically make a better holiday.

For an island priority, compare the separate Phu Quoc routes instead of inserting an island stop into this seven-day outline. Keep the route consistent with your available nights and the connections from your Indian departure city.
