Privacy Policy
How we handle the details you share while planning your next trip.
Last updated: 19 October 2026Tripsidekick is operated by Global Enterprise. This policy explains how information is handled on this website and when you contact our team about a trip.
1. Information you share
A travel brief can include your destination, departure city, travel date, number of travellers, budget per person, preferred contact time, travel style and notes. The enquiry form also asks for your name, email address, phone number and permission to contact you about your request.
If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive the message and the phone number and profile information WhatsApp makes available to us. Please share only what we need to plan your trip. Do not include payment card details, passwords or identity documents in an initial enquiry.
2. Why we use your information
We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand your preferences, prepare a personalised quote and follow up on your request. When website submissions are enabled, security checks also help prevent spam and repeated submissions. The enquiry form asks for permission to contact you about that enquiry; it does not subscribe you to a marketing newsletter.
3. Website forms and service providers
Submitted enquiry details pass through our website server to Google Apps Script and are stored in a private Google Sheet for our authorised team. Google processes these details to provide that service. Supabase verifies authorised staff sign-ins and stores our package and journal content. Our hosting service, Netlify, processes website requests as part of providing the site. This website does not take payments or create customer accounts.
4. Enquiries through WhatsApp
Package buttons open WhatsApp with the trip title and destination in a prepared message. Opening the link does not send the message automatically. You decide whether to send it, and our team replies in chat.
WhatsApp handles information under its own Privacy Policy. Our website does not automatically copy those conversations into its enquiry database or email alerts.
5. Cookies and browsing information
The current site has no advertising or analytics tracking scripts. It uses browser storage for preview briefs and an essential session cookie for staff who sign in to the admin area.
Normal website requests expose technical information, such as an IP address and browser details, to the hosting service. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which also receives technical information when your browser requests them. See Google’s Privacy Policy for its practices.
6. Keeping and protecting information
We aim to keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to handle your request, provide related support and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. The time needed may depend on whether an enquiry becomes a booking. You can contact us to ask about the information we hold and request deletion.
Access to website enquiries is restricted to authorised staff. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information.
7. Your choices and privacy requests
You can ask to access or correct information you have shared, request deletion, or withdraw permission for further enquiry follow-up. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Some records may need to be retained to meet applicable obligations; we will explain this if it affects your request.
Trip enquiries for children should be handled by an adult. Please do not include children’s identity documents in a travel brief.
